Morning: Journey from Marrakech to Imlil
Your trek starts with the pick up in the morning from your hotel or riad in Marrakech. It passes through the civilised hustle and bustle of Marrakesh and then continues across the scenic High Atlas Mountains. As you are walking, your guide will point out numerous interesting facts about the geological and historical background of the area, as well as cultural aspects that will prepare you for an awesome trip in advance.

Once you get to Imlil, it’s the starting point to Mount Toubkal, you will be able to hire an experienced guide for the simple trek or a panoramic walk depending on individual fitness ability. This guided walk passes through the Berber villages; fields of terracing; and orchards so that one can have the feeling of the rural setting of the area. Evening: Return to Marrakech
At the last evening, you’ll say goodbye to stress-free views of Imlil and then start the descent to Marrakech. The return offers another view of the mountains since the light of the setting sun gives the landscape a kind of aural sheen.
