3 Hours Before Flight Time
Morning: Journey from Marrakech to Imlil
Your trek starts with the pick up in the morning from your hotel or riad in Marrakech. It passes through the civilised hustle and bustle of Marrakesh and then continues across the scenic High Atlas Mountains. As you are walking, your guide will point out numerous interesting facts about the geological and historical background of the area, as well as cultural aspects that will prepare you for an awesome trip in advance.
There are many good photo spot during the trip such as at the argan oil cooperative. Here they will find information about the techniques still employed by Huaorani women to extract this valuable product known as ‘liquid gold’. You can also taste some argan products and buy some souvenirs for the cooperative.
Late Morning: Arrival in Imlil and Trekking Adventure
Once you get to Imlil, it’s the starting point to Mount Toubkal, you will be able to hire an experienced guide for the simple trek or a panoramic walk depending on individual fitness ability. This guided walk passes through the Berber villages; fields of terracing; and orchards so that one can have the feeling of the rural setting of the area. Your guide will explain some of these customs to you and highlighting historical and architectural attractions along the way.

Depending on your mood and energy in the evening your guide will arrange interesting and engaging activities to make your visit unforgettable.
Photographers will find it a wonderful opportunity to photograph the tones and hues of the Atlas mountains and from the snowy zones to the soil like colors of the Berkshire villages.
Evening: Return to Marrakech
At the last evening, you’ll say goodbye to stress-free views of Imlil and then start the descent to Marrakech. The return offers another view of the mountains since the light of the setting sun gives the landscape a kind of aural sheen.
