You can start your tour in the morning after being picked from your hotel in Marrakech. We will travel across the beautiful High Atlas Mountain pass at the Tizi-n-Tichka where you’ll get to see magnificent views of the Berber villages. Spend time in the rich UNESCO tapestry of Ait Benhaddou Kasbah that has been used as movies shooting location.
Lunch then drive to Ouarzazate and have photo break at Taourirt Kasbah. Carry on to Skoura Palm Oasis: there are so called ‘isolated kasbahs’ here, it will be worth while to spend another night in the picturesque guesthouse amdist the palms groves.
After breakfast proceed to the Valley of Roses and learn about rose products made locally. Proceed to the Todra Gorges passing through the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs, you will visit Tinghir with its palm groves and walk in the Todra Gorges.
Reach Merzouga in the late afternoon when you’ll take a camel ride to the Erg Chebbi dunes. Watch an amazing sunset and take a relaxing dinner followed by drumming and a night in a Berber camp.
This is why you should start your day very early with the camel ride to watch the sun rise over the dunes, then have breakfast. Leaving Merzouga you will have a chance to drive through Erfoud – famous for fossils’ production and passing by the Tafilalt oasis.
Quench the thirst for some interaction with the natural world again at the cedar forests around Azrou to see monkeys then move to Ifrane, the alpine city referred to as ‘Switzerland of Africa’.
